The thing to do before proceeding North out of village to resume questing

Before you do other thing, you should head to the bind stone next to the Soul Healer NPC. Pay the money and bind there. If you do not follow the instruction ahead, you will respawn all the way back south and stay at the south end where you started in the case you die. This means returning is one of your default abilities, and this ability returns you to the last Bind stone that you are bound to. As a result, binding here enables you to come back here quickly, and because of this you will be able to save time which should be spent on running around. What is more, this ability makes you save not only time, but stamina as well.
Note the location of the flight NPCs at the north end of the village past Kalio. You will be using their services too soon enough.
