Aion developer applies a system to the world of Aion, that is every player starts out with four base classes in Aion. Only until they reach level ten, they come to specialize in their final class. The four confirmed base classes are warriors, scouts, priests and mages, all of which decide the direction of the class. A warrior takes on the duty to decide between becoming a gladiator or a templar. As for Priests, he make a choice between chanter and cleric. Mages are designed to pick between spiritmasters and sorcerers, while scouts are specialized in heading down the path of an assassin or go with becoming a ranger.
