170,000 members in open beta

Definitely a great success for the new title of NCSoft Aion: Tower of Eternity.

With the launch of open beta in Korea, crowds of adventurous players have

flooded the servers to test deep in every facet of what promises to be one of

the major MMORPGs of 2009.

With an amount of 170,000 registered players, Aion: Tower of Eternity creates a

new record in the vast landscape of MMORPGs, placing himself in the head with

the greatest number of users have never seen a beta in Korea.

The release of Aion: Tower of Eternity is planned in Korea by the end of 2008,

while China, North America, Europe and Japan must wait until the beginning of

2009.

According to the reports of NCSoft, the number of players in server revenue grew

by 11.000 people in the first two minutes of activity, to reach 40,000 people in

less than an hour.
